Hello, I’m Martha Antonelli (née  Martha Williams), a mural artist and illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. I’m known for botanical artwork that transforms spaces from the ordinary to the extraordinary, using paint experimentally to create bold, dynamic compositions.

I’m inspired by the natural world and spend much of my time in gardens and natural spaces. When I'm there with my sketchbook, I can access a part of me that feels in touch with the natural world. The places I’ve visited influence me too, such as the bright African colours from my time in South Africa, the Mediterranean blues from Spain and the fertile green of Yorkshire in England. I initially work intuitively but I’m also a determined problem-solver and love taking exciting ideas and working with clients to mould them into effective designs.

Over the past decade in the creative industry, I’ve worked with world-class clients such as WWF, The Times, and L’Oréal. In addition to this, I've had the privilege of working on community projects, such as creating large-scale artwork for Leeds Children’s Hospital, The Poppy Project, and Assembly House studio. My large-scale artwork can be found across the world, providing a calm and inspiring space for those who live and work there.

When I create a design I collaborate with the client, starting with their idea and finding ways of bringing it to life. My role is to facilitate this and ensure it looks beautiful. I always strive to provide a great experience and outcome for my clients, reflected in my average rating of 4.9 stars over the past 59 projects and 100% success rate.
